Infrastructure as Code in many organizations and cases is a necessity. Many development teams, embraced immutable infrastructure with success, Treating such image as an artifact is one thing, but, how we take care of the quality of that element? I want to present how with use of various tools (Packer, Serverspec, InSpec, and Molecule) create a fully automated pipeline that will allow to build and test immutable infrastructure images. Everything with examples on Amazon Web Services platform, however, talk is not cloud-specific at all. My goal is to provide a practical guide on how to bring more confidence to your “codified infrastructure”.
